High white blood cell count found in urine and on pap smear

About a month ago the doctors found high white blood cells in my pap smear. No infection (yeast, bacteria vaginosis) and no STD's.

Today they found high white blood cells in my urine but no UTI or bladder infection.

Could this indicate an infection ANYWHERE in my body? Or just in my bladder or cervix?

What does this mean??? I'm worried I may have an infection somewhere that no one can find. I'm always dead tired and sick. The doctors don't even seem to care!

Re: High white blood cell count found in urine and on pap smear

When white blood cells show up in your PAP, it typically means inflammation is present.
This could well be due to infection (or not); if so, the infection would be vaginal/uterine/cervical in origin.
Infection of any other body part would not cause this PAP result.

The white cells in your urine indicate a UTI or bladder infection, which is common and is probably not related to your vaginal infection/cervical inflammation (which is also common).

Best of luck.

I have the same problem! I had a urine culture done a month and a half ago then another one done a few weeks ago. I've been running to the bathroom non-stop for way longer than a month and a half though. Now for the past few months I am extremely bloated and recently the pain wont subside in my lower back and lower abdomen like it usually does. It was intermittent for a while but, now it is back. I get hot and cold all day and night also. Noone has given me any sort of anti-biotics I just am going for another urinalysis again.
