Got a pregnancy question - sorry if it seems stupid. Just really confused!!
I'm a bit confused. My last period started on 2nd of July and my cycle is always 28 days - so I'm due to start in 6 days time on the 30th. I'm in a loving relationship and we always practice safe sex, except we seem to have a problem with condoms breaking and it happened quite a lot this month. (Don't worry - after this issue is resolved I will be looking into more reliable methods such as the implant). For over a week and a half now I have had extremely sore breasts - they definitely look bigger and feel firmer and they're sorer than they've ever been when I'm just PMS-ing. I've also been really tired and had headaches in this time. Me and my boyfriend convinced ourselves that I was pregnant and I was literally just about to step out to the supermarket to buy one of those early detection pregnancy tests but when I nipped to the loo beforehand I noticed I was bleeding. It seemed slightly different to my usual periods - can't really explain how, it just didn't seem the same - and it's only been 22 days since my last period and I'm NEVER that early. I've heard of something called implantation bleeding but am not really sure what that is - is it heavy and period-like or more like spotting? I'm not sure what to feel as I'm never this early for my period and for some reason something just doesn't feel right. We were CONVINCED I was pregnant. Could this bleeding be pregnancy related and is it still worth taking a test or do you think this is just my period for some reason very early and we were just freaking out over nothing??!
