smear results: do I need to worry?
In june i had a smear and the result came back that i have HPV,a retroverted uterus and my rihgt ovary larger- measures 2.8x3.2 and appear bright in texture. My dr told me to do another smear in 3mnths time- do i have to worry? I never had pain- the only thing i have is that sometimes i bleed during or after intercourse -should i have to worry?

It isn't abnormal to sometimes bleed during intercourse. If the sex is kind of rough it can cause a small tear which will cause some bleeding. Other problems may include an infection, vaginal dryness or friction during intercourse. You should see a doctor for this problem.

I wouldn't think so at this point. HPV is rather common and it can go away on it's own. The other items may or may not be a problem.

thank you so much- have an app on september - on my first visit my dr told me not to worry but some sites relate every problem with cancer and i'm really afraid!
