Hi. I had my first abnormal pap ever (and i've been getting them pretty regularly) and shortly after went in for a colposcopy and biopsy. During the pap and biopsy the doctors were saying it looked pretty mild. However, I just received a call from my doctor saying the results came back with moderate dysplasia (CIN II) and that I would need a LEEP procedure done. I have yet to make my appointment but I am very concerned. Not sure if I should call her back to ask, but my main concern is that I'm still pretty young (27), in a long term relationship and have not had children yet but am planning on it. I'm concerned with all the stuff I'm seeing online about trouble with pregnancy after LEEP. I would be heart broken if I wasn't able to have children because of this. Can anybody shed some light, have opinions or experience to share? I'm feeling pretty scared and unhappy about this news.
