Exclamation possible vulvodynia? help

i have been experiencing vulva irritation/discomfort for almost 3 months. I've tried just about everything the doctors gave me. I have no stds, yeast, bacteria, skin problems, dermatitis. I'm starting to develop a slight aching in my vulva towards my thighs. I've read this is a possible symptom of vulvodynia. I'm in the process of making an appt. with a specialist but until then I was wondering who has vulvodynia and what medications they are on to help with the symptoms? Are the medications personality changing or have risks? i'm scared, nervous, and extremely anxious finding out if this is what I have and if there is hope in the future of feeling better and having a sex life again with my bf. I'm ONLY 19 and a student so this is just bringing more stress in my life! i need some advice! thank you
