Pregnancy symptoms but pregnancy not possible? Help!

Hi all, I may just be worrying over nothing here but for the past month or so I've been experiencing a lot of symptoms very similar to pregnancy: missed period, bloating, fuller breasts, irritability, back pain, period-like cramps etc. It is highly unlikely that I am pregnant however as I haven't had sex since my boyfriend and I broke up in January and my periods have been normal up until now.

My period is currently 3 weeks late, I have a slight infection but that is being taken care of, and my doc didn't seem too phased at all. She told me to wait 6 months and not to bother considering the possibly of pregnancy.

Any suggestions as to why I'm experiencing these symptoms? I am not on the pill, and I am 20 years old.

If you been stress out then could be why your period is late. Stress can delay a female's period. Stress can cause delay in ovulation which can result in delayed periods. Also your symptoms look like a result of Premenstrual Syndrome such as PMS.

Are you asking whether you could be pregnant? If you haven't had sex since January, then there's no way you could be pregnant and not know it by now. By now you'd be giving birth, as it's been 9 months.
