| Periods are out of control
Hi everybody, I have always had a heavy period, which lasted between 10-14 days, but in the past couple of years my period has gone crazy. I had one period this year that lasted for two months, other months I have had multiple periods per month. Sometimes the periods last for 4 days sometimes 2 weeks. It is frustrating because I never know when to expect it. I was put on birth control to help control it, but that didn't work out, just gave me additional symptoms on top of the bleeding. My question is, what would cause this kind of bleeding? I had an ultrasound and nothing of significance was found. I have an appointment with the gyno booked, but that is still over a month away. I am on period #3 in the last 5 weeks and I am going nuts.
