| One day Period (5 days late)...pregancy spotting or period?
I have been sexually active in a commited relationship, but whilst using condoms. Although 2 weeks ago the condom my bf and I were using spilt - he quickly pulled out before there was any risk and we stopped.
Usually I have heavey 3-5 days periods, at regular 26 day cycles.
This month I was 5 days late, after 2 days late I took a pregancy test which was negative.
I saw my GP which she adviced me to wait up to 2 weeks before testing again and in the meantime gave me the contraceptive pill to take if/when my period arrived.
When my period finally arrived it was light soptting (dark red/brown) barely requiring a tampon and by the end of the next day had stopped.
Does this even register as a period or is it pregancy spotting? I took the pill on my first day expecting it to be a usual period.
Please any advice or words of wisdom would be helpful, I cant wait another 2 weeks worrying.
