Unhappy Spotting pinkish

Hello I had my period on february 20-25. But on the 5th of march I started cramping and potting a pinkish discharge. It's very light and it shows on the toilet paper. It lasted for a day. then it stoped for 2 days. Now it came back this morning and stopped at night. Can this be ovulation bleeding or plantation bleeding. This never happend to me before. My periods are regular. Can someone give me a hint on what might be going on? thank you.

Re: Spotting pinkish

It's actually very common to have this happen, and I noticed with me the older I got the more it happened in between periods. There are many possible causes including slight hormonal imbalances, vaginal/cervical irritation, polyps, STD's, hemorrhoids, etc. I wouldn't worry about just a little pink. Might be worth mentioning to your gynocologist the next time you see them, but no special trip necessary.
