| Short, heavy period
Hi - for the last few months I've been experiencing shortened periods. They start off heavy with clotting and I have pretty extreme cramps (though as a long-time sufferer of PCOS, I'm pretty used to the cramps - though for years my period lasted at least 5-7 days). I am kind of worried about the shortened period, however. My period right now is extremely light and about to end after only 2 days.
I have not been sexually active for 8 months.
I was on birth control pills for 4 years (I stopped taking them about a year ago).
Is it possible that my PCOS is causing this?
I have not taken any pregnancy tests - considering it's been so long, I didn't think it was necessary.
