Having brown discharge a few days before my main flow was pretty normal for me my entire life. Normally I had 1 day of light brown, day 2 was dark brown with spotted red, and day 3 the flow would begin.
For the last two months, however, I have had the brown start 8 days and 7 days before my flow started. Its been very light brown, and one day each time a drop of red occurred. (Day 2 last month, day 4 the month before) Two months ago my period ended up being 3 days later than normal, and this month my period was on time.
Nothing has changed in the past few months. We are TTC, but I took a test (at my nurses request) and it was negative.
#1 - Is it abnormal for a 27 year old to suddenly have a change in her periods like this after being normal for many years?
#2 - Will the brown starting a week before my period harm my chances of TTC?
Thank you in advance for reading and any responses!
