| UTI with itching?
Hello! I had been having normal symptoms of a UTI (burning, frequency/urge to go, bladder pressure, cloudy/foul smelling urine) for about 4 days and I finally made it to the urgent care yesterday. They did a test and it came back that I do have a UTI. They put me on cipro for 10 days and because antibiotics typically give me a yeast infection I asked for Diflucan. The doctor gave me two Diflucan pills, one to take yesterday and one to take Saturday. The problem is, when I left the doctor I started getting vaginal itching somewhat close to a yeast infection and it's definitely worse today. I get UTI's frequently but I don't think extreme itching is usually a symptom. Has anyone else experienced this? I do have genital herpes but no outbreaks in the past year so I don't think it would be related to that. Also, when I was at the doctor I told her that I was having some pain/sensitivity/itching around my clitoris and she said it looked dry. Has anyone experienced that? Any ideas as to what could be causing the itching? Thank you!
