I am 38 years old with 3 healthy children. In february this year I had a pelvic ultrasound as I was having discomfort in my pelvic region and was informed that I had an 8 by 6cm complex tumor.. Doctors informed me that best thing to do was monitor and see if it grows.. Only yesterday I saw a gyno who felt my abdomen and ordered another pelvic ultrsound and blood tests.. The results were horrifying to me as my 8cm tumor had grown to 19.3cm since february.. I am still to find out at my next consult what the next step is but I am worried I may have cancer as my mother had breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy but was not suitable for therapy as she had other health issues.. I am really worried about this and have tried to do alot of research about my condition.. The tumor is now causing other health issues like incontinence and severe reflux and the feeling of pressure on my other organs..
