Rectal Lump

Hello,
I am a 39 YO female and in the shower this morning found a lump on the inside of my rectum, about 3:00 position, is VERY hard, the size of a pea and absolutely non painful. I have had hemorrhoids during pregnancy in this area in the past, but no recent flare ups. There is no pain or bleeding on defecation. There are no other clinical changes with my health. Obviously, I am concerned that this is not benign (or pre-cancerous), and I would like some reassurance. I recently moved to this area, so I only have an OBGYN. Is this something that they would be able to diagnose or would I have to get a GP? Thanks!
