Well, I've never heard of that being the cause of an ovarian cyst for sure. In fact... I think you are ok.

There may be some other things you need to check though. For example: I have what is called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It is common for me to get cysts. What people don't realize is that 10% of women have it and most women don't even know until later in life. I don't know any of your medical history or even your body type so you can just google it for yourself if you want.

Also, sometimes your ovaries just develop cysts, and they go away before you even know you had it. It's not uncommon.

I think it just happened to be at the same time. Don't stress. Just follow up with your doctor as instructed.
