| No period in 13 months, quit birth control (?!)
Hi everyone! This is my first post, and I'm hoping someone might have some insight to share because I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Here's a quick summary of my situation:
I'm 24 years old
Was on the pill (Necon 35 I think?) from age 18-22
Quit 25 months ago in August 2010
Had irregular periods until September 2011
Have not had ANY period since Sept. 2011
I am not sexually active and I have no sex drive
I quit the BC pill to get back to being natural and to get away from chemicals.
I went to my OBGYN in Minnesota and she
a) wanted to put me back on the pill (no thanks)
b) said "Well, are you trying to get pregnant?" "No." "Then don't worry, and come back and see me in a few years when you want to get pregnant, and I'll put you on something for that."
So, that's where I'm at. No period in 13 months and wondering what the heck is going on. Also interested in finding a holistic/homeopathic solution.
Could it be PCOS?
