Just wanted to post that I had the Novasure procedure yesterday and it was a piece of cake. In my research, it seems that about 10 percent of women will develop late side effects that will require a hysterectomy. And, for some it does not work. I'm hoping I am in he 90 percent that do have a good outcome bc I feel I would like to postpone or avoid hysterectomy. That being said, it seems like the women who have D&C and Novasure, or tubal and Novasure have the most post procedure pain. My particular doctor, does an in office uterine biopsy first, so on the day of the procedure it is only the procedure. I hope this helps anyone considering this procedure. Obviously I don't know yet if it worked for me but the procedure itself was quick and easy for me. Before having the procedure I have been suffering from anemia and vitamin deficiency due to blood loss, so even if I have regular light periods I willl feel successful. I hope this information helps and will follow up with results later.
