 22 years old. Low libido. Prescribed testosterone cream.
Hello All,
I am 22 years old, have been on BC pills (currently on Necon) since I was a teenager for health reasons. Within the past two years I have experienced very low libido and sex drive. I am happily married to my best friend, who is very patient with my low sexual desires. We communicate about my lack of sex drive. Yesterday I went to my GYN and she prescribed me a 2% testosterone cream compound. I have never had any blood test done to even know if I have low testosterone (although, it does run in the family) She also switched my BC pill to Sprintec.
I am concerned to use the cream due to all the negative side effects. She told me to squeeze the cream the half size of a green pea and rub it on my clitoris. SHould I use it if I don't know my levels?
