When vaginal bleeding is very slow, it turns brown or black from exposure to oxygen. If you haven't had a period yet, this may be your first. Sometimes you get this spotting for the first day or two before outright bleeding occurs. Sometimes with a first period, you get just the dark spotting and that's all until next month. I would wash your undies in cold water after putting hydrogen peroxide on the spots. When blood is present, the peroxide will foam up. I would wear a light pad to protect your undies until it stops, and let your Mom know you think you have started your period so she can help you get what you need and answer any questions you have.
