| Bleeding for 4 weeks now
I am a 27 year old, married woman with 3 kids.
I have been bleeding for 4 weeks now. Not spotting, bleeding, like a period. I went to the doctor this past Tuesday. The doctor confirmed My Paragard IUD strings are there. (But this does not necessarily confirm that the IUD is where it is supposed to be.) She did a culture (which was very painful to me), along with some blood work. I have a transvaginal ultrasound scheduled for the 16th.
The order for the blood work is to check thyroid levels, along with a cbc. This is paying a toll on my body, as well as my MIND. I was given Lysteda to stop, or slow down the bleeding. It did not work. I am still bleeding, even more I think.
For the past couple days I am now experiencing lower right pelvic pain. I tried to call the office to see if the blood work results were in. They ARE, but- the doctor is not in until monday, so I have to wait until then.
I am not sure what to expect as this point. Does anyone have ANY experiences with this?
