| Re: 3 Abnormal Pap smears within 10 months... now what??? Between the time I was 14 and 20 I never had a normal pap smear. Every time I would get an abnormal result I would have to come back in a few weeks and have another test done and it would show up abnormal as well. What I ended up having to do was have multiple biopsies done so they could test the tissue. And every biopsy I had came back normal. After I had my son when I was 21 my pap smears have all been normal and they never gave me a reason as to why all the ones before that were not. They will probably do a cervical biopsy on you next. I don't know if you've had one before or not, but in my experience they were all pretty much painless, just a bit uncomfortable. |
