Question cold cone knife

I have an abnormal pap test HCP cin1. At my age and considering that I am a smoker, with diabetes, high blood pressure it was recomended I take the radical step and have a cold cone knife done instead of just freezing or laser. I work as a server and I have an obsession to keep busy , especially cleaning . I want to return to work asap does anyone have any idea how soon you can get back into your daily routine and work?

Re: cold cone knife

I don't know how long it takes to recover. But I thought CIN1 usually regressed. Did you have a colposcopy that showed CIN1 and were you given time to see if it regressed?

Re: cold cone knife

No was not given time to regress because cells were of unknown origin with family history and age , considering all my medical condition I didn't want the option of sitting with waiting and constant watch so it was recomended that I had that option to take aggressive action now as to later.
