bikini waxing

just wondering if anyone suffers from ingrown hairs after waxing the bikini line? I have such sensitive skin down there (even acne on my face) but I wonder if part of the reason for ingrowns, besides not exfoliating properly, is the technique of the person doing the waxing. I've been to a few diff. spas - some ask you to pull the skin upward before she does it, others ask you to hold your leg a certain way. I am just wondering if these affect how the hair is removed and affects the way it grows back. I do know abourt exfoliation, but I'm just curious as to what you all think or can you suggest any products to use. I've tried a few that the estechicians recommended but to no avail. Thanks so much.

Re: bikini waxing

but don't you use a whole can of shaving gel or cream each day? it seems like there is a wide area to be shaved with lots of curves and crevices. I am afraid of cutting myself!

Re: bikini waxing

Hi I use those little eyebrow razors they advertise. They work great. I do trim with scissors first. Or sideburn trimmers work well too. Cathy
