In Reply to: How to get rid bad bacteria/virus in stomach? posted by Mike on October 16, 2000 at 17:00:28:

: Hi, I think i have some bad bacteria or a virus in my stomach cause of something i ate. I have been having severe diarrhea in the morning. I have been reading some of the other posts saying, "eat yogort to replace nutrients lost and take Metamucil or something like that" But, my question is, what should i do about the bacteria? Will it go away on it's own or something??

Hi Mike,
Yogurt usually contain acidophilus that will help replace bad bacteria in the intestines. Eat several teaspoons every 2 hours. Metamucil is a supplement fiber that is water soluble and is a bulk producing agent.Helps in stool formation.
God Bless----Harry
