Hi Ann: I am glad you found this board too before you ruin your colon beyond repair. as you
have been able to tell from our mistakes, stimulant laxatives will ruin your colon and fast. it
is very very hard to break the laxative habit but 9 months is not so long a time that you won't
be able to do it. it really takes courage to give up this junk (which in my opinion shouldn't
be on the market). Milk of magnesia is a better way to go and then you can wean yourself off
of that too. Good luck. It is g reat too that we have Mary, a nurse, who has alot of knowledge
to help us.
