Your post really concerns me. I wish I knew more about these things and could suggest something helpful. I'm assuming that you've tried the over-the-counter creams for itching and pain? If not, definitely give them a try. As excruciating as this is, you really need to try to not scratch this area and let it heal completely so that it will stop itching. My experience has been that tissues sometimes itch when they are healing, so that's the time to not scratch and let them heal.

I hope that some of the others on the board can give you more practical advice. Maybe you should try another doctor. Just don't give up hope!
