Yes it sounds like a hemorrhoid. You need to start taking care of your bowels as it sounds like you must be straining to have a BM which is a good indicator that you seem to have constipation. Increase the fiber in your diet and use a fiber supplement such as citurcel or fiber tabs. You can use a soothing ointment for hemorrhoids to help them feel better but surgery is the only permanent solution to get rid of them. Good luck.
