I have an 11 year old son who's been soiling his underpants for a couple of years now.
It all began when my sister, and my aunt died, and we moved into a new home (new school).
He's been to three specialists, all tell us he's chronically constipated. He's now (since July) on lactulose and kondremul (mineral oil)
daily, and we use Miralax frequently to "clean out". He also sits on the toilet three times per day
after meals. However, he still soils his pants daily, but without the odor that used to accompany
it. Can anyone offer insight as to how long it will take for this to stop? Is it normal for the process
to take this long and have so many setbacks? any help is appreciated!!
