I found that some toilet paper brands leave a lot of lint behind. This will make a person itch. Once you scratch, it will continue to itch untill the area is thourally cleaned and patted dry with a no lint paper or facial tissue. To get some releaf after the dammage has been done, use a good hemorrhoidal cream to stop the burn and itch so you can keep your hands off it. Then investigate (with a Doctors help if neccessary)to find the cause.. Sometimes it's just the lousy paper..I use flushable Moist wipes with aloe found in the toilet paper section of the grocery store, then pat dry with a good toilet paper. Works wonders....
