I saw a special on 20/20 Friday, March 10 regarding compression of the brain stem which is operable and can cure/help fibromyalgia patients. My mother suffers also with pheripheal neuropathy. Does anyone out there know of the name of this ailment called something like Chiari. Apparantly, the treatment is a 4 hr. operation that removes bone around the brain stem at the base of your neck.
