: : I have numbness on the left side of my head. I've had this feeling for about three weeks and still has not gone away. I went to the doctor and he said I was experiencing Tension Headaches. I told the doctor that I had a bump in the back of my head, and he said it was just a CEST. I was given BUTALBITAL/ASA/CAFF 50/325 as a form of prescription. At first, the pain on my head went away and the numbness faded, but it did not completely go away. My head is beginning to numb and I can feel the numbness from my left side of my head down to my jaw. This is the first time I've ever experienced this, and am 22 years old. Do you have any advice on what I have and should do.

: I've been suffering numbness for about 6 months, and have had an MRI (to rule out M.S. and tumors), full dental xrays, 2 Lyme disease tests, Herpes swab culture, and have visited an acupuncturist and a chiropractor. No one has helped. I don't have pain, but I do have pressure, numbness and tingling. Both sides of my face are affected, and it now seems to be spreading to my forehead, slightly. I suffer from my eyes down, except for the lower back jaw area - also around my right ear. It started with my tongue, like burning it on hot coffee, and spread to the right side of my face. I have to concentrate to speak correctly, but there's no paralysis, and people can't tell there's anything wrong. I now have an appointment with an ENT (ear-nose-throat) guy - in 3 weeks. I'd also love to know if there is medication, or a cure, out there somewhere. Omar, I hope yours has faded, as that sometimes happens, without knowing what you had.
Hi! I'm new to the board. Have you tried researching something called "Bell's Palsy?" An EENT doctor diagnosed me with that about 12 years ago when I had similar symptoms. He didn't prescribe anything for it, and it went away on its own within two months. My face was even all lopsided. If I smiled, only one side of my lips would move up. Sure looked and felt weird. I was so glad to get back to normal again. It left no residual symptoms at all. Good luck to you and God bless! Regards, scsww
