: Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this symptom: A vibration sensed in whatever part of the body is bearing weight (soles of feet if standing, seat if sitting, back if lying, etc.)? There is no visible tremor; MRI is normal. This sensation is always present, but varies in intensity, sometimes described as an internal shudder. Interferes with sleep; symptom has been present for >6 months in this 70-yr-old female. Thanks for your responses.

I have the same thing -- it's through my entire body. The neurologist thinks it's neurological; the gynocologist, hormonal; the psychiatrist wants to give me an anti-anxiety med.... If you have found or find out anything, please let me know. I've had to use sleeping pills for over six months.
