Someone--please help--

My father was diagnosed over a year ago with "inflammatory brain disease" because the doctors have no name for his condition, and no idea of its cause, and no cure. They tested for innumberable diseases that cause this disorder, all of which are negative. He has been placed on a high dosage of steroids but has now developed psychosis as a result of this disease. Does anyone know someone suffering from this or anything similar??
