Maria- I think what you may be speaking of is Empty Sella Syndrome and Pituitary Infarction. Pituitary infarction is where a part of the pituitary gland on the brain, dies and or hemorrages. I had a Pit tumor removed 12/99 and now have Empty Sella as a result. Check out the Pituitary Tumor Network Association at
www.pituitary.com for more info. They should do an MRI of the brain to determine this.
