I recently had a cat scan of my head, because of a severe dizzy spell. I have had some stabbing pains in the back of my head, but truly thought it was just the onset of a headache. My doctor is going to send me next week for a MRI. I have to say I am scared, like anyone would be. But the neurologist I am seeing almost blew this off completely, but thankfully my mother works for the radiologist I went to and had a second doctor look at my scan. I wonder if the area in which it is, is a rare area to have it in, or is this area a place not to worry about? Thanks.
