: : hi,
: : i found this board tonight, & need to share & find some support groups to help me get thru a very difficult time. my boyfriend was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma, stage 4 on feb 15th. he was due for his 2nd dose of chemo today, but is now in icu, with breathing tube, his prognosis is not good, as tumors have grown in the lungs & he can no longer breathe on his own. this is a very devasting thing to watch him go thru, if anyone could email me with support group info either via online or other, i would be so greatly thankful.

: Serena,
: I am very sorry this terrible disease has come into your life. Pleae try to have faith and God will help you. Often times we think that we do not have the strength to handle
: certain situations but it will seem to work out. If all hope is past for your Fiance, then just be there for him and let him know how much you care. I have a family member who has cancer
: and I know how hard it is to deal with the whole life/death thing.

: Take care,
: N

Hello Serena,
I have lost a brother and a sister to cancer within the last year. Now my other sister has NHL, and has been in remission for 2 months. I was with my sister that passed away through the whole thing and it isn't easy. I was there to hold her hand and talk with her whenever she wanted to talk.Just be there, it means a lot. God Bless
