for those of you looking for information on non small cell lung cancer two other treatment options id did not mention is photfrin which is a drug which absorbs light and then the patient is given this special type of radiation to help the cancer absorb the chemical. this is only for early small cell
the other possibility, and its is just a possibilty is a drug called su5416 which sugen is perusing it is an angiogensis drug(such as endotstatin) which is in stage on trials now. in late summer they predict to go directly into stage 3 trials especially aimed at non small cell lung cancer, as far as i read they are not yet signing people up for these trials
