Sophia,
I am continuing to have the sensation that both of my arms are asleep from the armpit down the inner arm to the palm of the hands. This occurs when I lie on either side. I also have more problems with tightness when I lie on my back than when upright, but I have a constant sensation of tightness. I do not have the "asleep" sensation when upright or lying on my back, only on my sides. My plastic surgeon does not know why I have this. I did not have a malignancy, so did not have lymph nodes removed. The mastectomy was prophylactic. Are you having similar symptoms and if so, has your doctor had any ideas of what if causing it?
