: Diana,

: My mother has Non-small-cell carcinoma, Adenocarcinoma type tumor which has also spread to the lymph-nodes near the tumor. She too experienced dangerously low blood counts of both white and red-blood cells. She was perscribed Neupogen, Procrit and just received a blood transfusion.

: Her Doctors told her that this type of cancer responds very well to the treatment perscribed, so we are very hopeful. But, as I am sure you know from your experience with your mother, getting through chemo and radiation is very difficult. I think she would find comfort in knowing that others shared similar experiences and that there is hope.

: Thank you for sharing your experince on this subject, I'm glad to here that your mother is experiencing success in her treatment. Please share more about the "immune study" you mentioned, I am very interested in finding out anything I can on an new treatments that could help.

: To any others undergoing chemo/radiation please continue to share your experience on this subject.

: Sincerely,

: Mizrabelle
