: I am 31 and diagnosed with what the Dr's call Primary Peritoneal Cancer. I went through exploratory surgery and they found numerous tumors through out my peritoneal cavity. I also had to have a hysterectomy.
: They finally pin pointed that the primary cancer site started in my appendix. This, I was told is very rare. I am a stage IV and am going to give chemo a try.

: If anyone has any info regarding this type of cancer I would be glad to hear about it. So far I have been unsecefull in finding any info on the net or elsewhere.

Diane,
I hope you do not mind me asking but how were you diagnosed with this disease? Did you have symptoms? Did you seek medical assistance?
I have had some abdominal discomfort and am a little concerned. I have sought the advise of my family doctor
and my OB/GYN. They ran some tests last year but found no problem. My mother was diagnosed with ovarian
cancer three years ago.

I appreciate you sharing your experience with me.

Good Luck.
Natalie
