: My daughter was just diagnosed with this brain tumor. Does anyone have any experience or treatments. thanks
Sorry to hear about your daughter. Always remember that a diagnosis of cancer is not an automatic "death sentence."
I'm sending an excellent site for you to check out. Click on the search and you'll be able to choose the specific type of cancer.
Under brain cancer, there are posted 38 personal stories of survivors. Most of these have e-mails posted if you want to correspond with them.
Also, I'm sending another site (technical) which I know you'll find some more help/info.
I remember your family in my prayers tonight.
Ruthie/MI. 6 yr. survivor
P.S. Check out cancer support groups in your area. Research has shown over and over again that individuals who attend, even sporadically, live longer. In these groups, family can attend too, one learns current info/tips, and most important one does not feel alone.
