: : We just found out that my father has a rare form of cancer. The doctor that sent off the tumor to Mayo to have it identified hadn't even heard of it before...The official title at this point is Angio Carcenoma...Can anyone tell me where to start researching this disease? Many many thanks...Charles Magers

Dear Chuck-Just a word of encouragement to say that you are in our families prayers as well. I was diagnosed with cancer but Praise God I am now cancer free and I know prayer works. I am walking proof. It is very good that you are researching this cancer to know what you are dealing with. It helps to know the facts and you can also pray more specifically. I am sure you will all do fine. Your father is fortunate to have you with him.

: : My daughter was just diagnosed with this brain tumor. Does anyone have any experience or treatments. thanks

: Dear Chuck:

: Sorry to hear about your father. Always remember that a diagnosis of cancer is not an automatic "death sentence." Your dad is in good hands at the Mayo Clinic.

: From my med book: angio carcinoma is a tumor of the blood vessels of the meninges covering the spinal cord or the brain.

: I'm sending an excellent site for you to check out. Click on the search and you'll be able to choose the specific type of cancer.

: Under brain cancer, there are posted 38 personal stories of survivors. Most of these have e-mails posted if you want to correspond with them.

: Also, I'm sending another site (technical) which I know you'll find some more help/info.

: I'll remember your family in my prayers tonight.

: God bless,

: Ruthie/MI

: P.S. Check out suppport groups in your area. Both patient and family can attend.
