: Please help, I have had swollen tender lymph node areas for some time now, under my arms, genital areas, but most recently and most painful is now located in my abdominal area around my ribs. I can barely touch this area without alot of pain. Also recently I have red "spots" under my skin on my arms and a hard lump (size of pea) on my shoulder, which is not painful. It just seems more symptom keep adding to the others. Fatigue, muscle pain, weakness, hot flashes. My right leg has been plagued with pain for at least 5 years. Do any of my symptoms mean anything to any of you?? The only tests I've had are basic bloodwork. I have no insurance, and the free clinic I've been going to is a joke. I have an apt in July with a very good doc (been on a waiting list for 8 months) What should I ask, and how do I demand testing even though I have no insurance? Thanks, rnr
Sounds like you may need to have some of those nodes bioposied. There must be some way you can get in before July. Your symptoms could be a number of things but you cannot rule out lymphoma. Please try calling the American Cancer Society. They are wonderful and if you explain your symptoms and your lack of insurance they may guide you in the right direction. Please do not be scared at me mentioning the cancer word but we must live in a realistic world and go from there. I am a cancer survivor and realize the need to be agressive in our treatment.
Prayers and good luck to you.
