My best friends mom just became dizzy two weeks ago with blurred vision to find out that she had a brain tumor golfball size. They also found a lesion on her lung (heavy smoker) and also one on her liver. I know that it is not good when it gets to the liver. She began chemo yesterday. They will keep her on that for 18 weeks at 3 week increments. I just want to know what her chances are. My friend is extrememly optimistic. I dont blame her. However, I worry that it is worse than she thinks and I am concerned about her. Does anyone have any experience with this or do you know how long she has, statistics, does chemo usually work? I'm confused. Thanks for any input!
