i forgot to mention there is a clinical drug called navelbine specifically for stage 4 poor performance elderly non small cell lung cancer.in their application for fda they stated the first participants average life span was 36 months (which is pretty good) it wouldn't cure her cancer, but if she is a poor risk it might hold it in check. if you want to see the info on this search with clinical trials.gov and then go to the listing that comes up that says Center watch", then go to clinical trials, then oncology, then lung cancer, all the contact info is listed right there
