you said your husband had whole brain radiation for samll cell lung cancer . i have a question. my mother is in remission from small cell (just recently) and is in a clinical trial that they feel will keep it from coming back in the body, but after the trial is done they want to radiate the brain to prevent it from going there. she is 65. she had one doctor tell her she's too old to do it, and another tell her to do it. she is now scared of it. can you tell me what kind of side effects just the whole brain radiation, no the chemo did to your husband?? was it really bad? Does he now have permanent problems from it? thanks very much,
