my grandfather (80) was diagnosed w/ cancer a month ago and he has a massive tumor in one of his lungs and possibly something else developing. he also has diabetes and has been very out of it lately. the hospital has wanted to drag him back and forth early in the morning for radiation treatments <--- it's a really long drive. and he can't handle it. today, we found out he has three months to live, tops without the radiation treatment b/c hauling him back and forth to the hospital is too stressfull. so now my mother is talking about just taking him home and basically, letting him die there w/o getting the treatments. i was wondering if you guys had any advice on this? i'm only sixteen. are the radiation treatments really pointless at this state? or what's the deal with a..uh, hospus or whatever? i'm confused. please reply!
