My friend was diagnosed with cancer 2weeks ago(dont know what kind exactly). Primary cancer is tumor in shoulder/neck which has already caused bone marrow cancer. Started chemo day after diagnosis, now been in hospital for treatments 2 weeks. Yesterday during treatment "took a bad turn" and now in ICU. Is this normal for someone to have to go in ICU during chemo treatment? Is treatment better in one country than another?(she is in australia).Any other info would be appreciated.
