my mother was diagnosed with non- small cell undiffreni[ not sure about the spelling] lung cancer in sept 99. She has since under gone chemo[carbo and taxol] with remission after three mons. The ca returned in june and she is now on gemzar and carboplantin. I have probably spelled this wrong. Has anyone tried this combo? Can you tell me about any drug trials or new drugs that this type of cancer has responded well to? Thanks for any info you can give.
