Hello all,

Our mother is just starting chemo and radiation therapy for stage IV nonsmall cell lung cancer. She is interested in supplementing her treatment with MGN3 (shiitaake and rice bran extract), to the tune of 12 pills a day, and with IP - 6 as well (inositol hexaphosphate), to the tune of 16 caps a day. Both supplements are supposed to boost the immune system's ability to destroy cancer cells.

Is it a good idea to layer supplements like these, when beginning treatment?
